Just on working on the ball,
I think we have really dropped off this lately. I remember back when we started in seniors, those guys would get the ball unbelievably shiny, it was in great condition every time I got it back. Now it seems as though it just gets passed through the hands and I end up having to do as much as I can before bowling.
Get someone at mid on and mid off whose job it is to shine the ball after every ball, really polish it to keep it in good condition. ___________
Well I suppose bowling accross the seam helps the ball the get older faster, but that isn't what the Aussies need to do. They showed a graphic comparing our ball to India's ball, and with our ball you could barely tell which was meant to be the shiny side, while India's was clear as day.
Also, they have barely been able to move the new ball, what makes them think they will get much reverse swing as well? Where the Indians move it nearly throughout the innings.
