Typical English start to the tour, a rain delay to start the game Apparently the rain has stopped for the moment and they are about to toss. EDIT: England win the toss and send New Zealand in. My moneys on England to win this one (if its not a draw).

Looks like its going to be a draw. NZ lead by 10 runs with 9 wickets remaining, day 5. England will have to pull off something special to win this.

Davo, it IS the last day today and its lunch. With only a 71 run lead, nobody will be winning this test match.

Wow that was 1 right stuff up on NZ's part. To lose a test like that after leading by 180 on first innings. Thats pretty poor form.

yea but NZ are a pretty weakl side in world cricket atm. Their batting orders woeful and are usually on saved by a good innings from Taylor or McCullum. their bowlings nothing special either. england should never have trailed at the end of the 1st innings.

Whats your take on Anderson Jacko? He's absolutely skittled NZ, 8 wickets in the match so far, 7 in the first innings. I dont (didnt) rate him but that is a pretty impressive performance.
England dont even look like they are going to have to bat again.

well TC...to put it frankly I think you and Anderson have a bit in common...on his day with the outswinger going he is more than useful....but it doesn't happen enough.
See that Sidebottom got 6 in the second innings..anf Jones is taking wickets in county cricket.
If the Poms can assemble four quicks at 140 plus who can get good shape then anything is possible next year
I also think anderson performance would help a certain australian outswing bowlers chances of an ashes tour...and that's not you TC!!!!!
but with luck we could be there taking it in.

Haha, you wouldn't be talking about my idol one Ben Hilfenhaus would you? And apparently (going off what Dad said) Anderson was bowling mainly in swingers, and then tearing up the NZ batsmen with unplayable out swingers.

Just been watching the ODI. Poor performance from the NZ batsmen again. Great knock from Mills to boost NZs score up to 180, good recovery in the end. Typical England - cold, overcast, rainy. Good bowlings conditions I hope NZ can make a game of it.

Well England stuffed up all out for 160 odd. Series tied at 1 a piece.
