despite his poor recent form ponting is probably the best in the world. ive always liked chris gayle and his power game and he is playing a more mature game now. on current form McCullam has performed in the last couple of series for NZ in all forms of the game.

ive always thought McCullum at the top of the order is a force more than any other just on his shot range, he can hit any ball practically anywhere

Sangakarra would have to be close to it. He is pure class in an average team, and in the VB series he showed his skill quite a few times. He adapts and plays the part he needs to play, unfortunately his team often can not support him.

he has too much pressure on him however,
not keeping in the tests has helped his batting
