For the first time a challenge system will be used if the test between India and Sri Lanka ever gets underway. Each team gets 3 incorrect challenges per innings. Article: content-aus.cricinfo.com/slvind/content/current/story/362176.htmlI'm not so sure this will work too well, I mean they trialled using the third umpire for snicks and LBWs in ODIs a while back and that was quickly scrapped. I think that the 3rd Umpire will have to be 100% sure that a decision should be changed for him to go ahead with it, otherwise we could end up with a similar debacle to what we have in league at the moment.

It may not fail but will only make cricket take longer, which is not necessarily what the game needs.

Get ready to wait 5 minutes for snicko/hawkeye... Neither of which are 100% reliable. Silly idea, won't last.

It has been used twice so far by India, both with the decision of not out being unchanged. It's rediculous because if the team thinks they may want to challenge, they all go into a huddle to discuss if they should or not. Waste of time, unneeded, leave the umps on the ground to it.
