well TC..... classic second year syndrome with JT.
It will be ironic if someone does to JT ,what he did to the Bomber and peter Louis.
And don't say nasty things about the bomber..we could be sitting next to him at a superleague game next july.

We should have kept McRae, we jumped far too early at JT. WOW he won a few games with the Eels lets sign him up. WOW he won a few more, lets promote him straight to head coach! He may have got us into the 8 last year, but would a better more experienced coach done even better?

Oh yay Lewis ditched our agreed terms. After he garunteed he would sign etc. Great honesty there, the media have scared him away from us. This just keeps getting better... Now we probably wont have any decent signings for next year...

yea he didn't sign a contract and i know he may shook hands and all this, but souths gave the panthers time to make a counter offer........ and you will never know what was actually said between lewis and souths, only what is released and even then everyone twists the words to suit there own agenda.......

Lewis had "agreed to terms".
You cant officially sign a contract until after round 13. So all the supposed signings aren't 100% yet.
It annoys me that earlier in the week Lewis had said he was ignoring the negative press and was committed to Souths next year.

Luke is much, much more valuable at hooker. We'll see how Ndaira goes at half.
Luke Capewell has come up from U20s. He plays fullback very well, has confidence and a good step. He has had an impressive season so far. A problem he will have is his size.

Why do souths hate me, for the life of me I can't tip them, But never the less, these past 5 weeks, wait no this entire season has proven something to me..... Souths is one of if not the WORST defensive side in the NRL and if they do make the eight they will get hammered by whoever they play. Whilst there are three other teams who have had more points scored against them then Souths in my opinion are the softest, They are not the worst team in NRL overall in fact far from it but, They leak massive metres, they let in soft tries and they seem to be inefficient against most kicking games. So many times have I heard that "as long as they keep out scoring teams they'll be fine" but the fact of the matter is they cant outscore the teams, because the other teams defenses are to strong. If Souths want to have any realistic title dreams they must stop leaking an average of 26 points per game

Hey fair go. Our outside backs got destroyed, all their tries today were down both wings. Hegarty and Talanoa were absolutely shocking in defense, Simpson was ordinary as well. We will have Colin Best to strengthen things up their next season. We will not make the 8, we had to win today. Tigers played a good game, Benji fired. I told you not to tip us. You should join the telegraph Matty, don't wanna know anything about Souths when we're winning, but as soon as we lose the knives come out

Lol man I think i'm fair, I mean sure theres a little frustration from not tipping them in 7 STUFFING weeks but I also think i was accurate in my assessment.

Souths now have the best average attendance for this year out of all the Sydney teams, 5th overall Not bad for a team travelling towards the bottom... Penrith are the strugglers... Average below 12k. And must I say Manly, Roosters and Sharks should all have higher averages for how they have been going. Hopefully the crowd can continue to be as big as it was last Friday for Manly.

Gah you never listen to what I say, Souths are a bigger, probably the most famous NRL side around, They are situated in the City within reasonably close proximity of the majority of other teams. Manly is a smaller club with a smaller oval and is the ONLY team in the NRL this side of the harbour bridge. It is much more of a hassle for other teams to trek it with your travelling team, to come over to Manly then it is to go to a Souths game. Also i would like to see what % of the crowd at a Manly game are opposition supporters compared to the % of oppostion supporters at a Souths game. Also everyone likes to go watch their team have a tune up game against souths ;D ;D

Gee I thought I'd back Manly a bit to save myself from a roasting, obviously not. OK lets leave Manly out of this.
Roosters, Sharks - what excuses do they have for their poor turnouts?
