Yeah I like your thinking Nicky! We would have to come up with a system to decide how cash is allocated though... Maybe a job one of you two would like to take on?

Cheers Nick sounds good, for starters could you just come up with a basic points system for how this will work? Then we can discuss how much we will have to pay for certain players etc.

start with cricket yeh? then maybe branch off if it works at all...
im thinking averages decides on pay, basically
then 0-10 -$40 10-20 -$20 20-49 - $0 50-75 - $30 76-99 - $45 100-150 $80
or something like that then something like strike rate over 100 = $10
suggestions welcome
bowling concede 6+ an over -$20 concede 8+ an over - $40 concede under 3.5 an over $15 1-2 wickets - $10 3-4 wickets - $30 5-6 wickets - $50 7+ $80
then like 50+ and 3 + wickets $40 bonus
or something all rounders more expensive

Looks good.
I think we will stick to cricket only. But players don't have to be professional - I.E. Once the season gets underway we can sponsor fellow club members, and well known characters from other clubs (SCOON!)
I don't think a bonus for strike rate is necessary, especially if tests are being played. Also that list you have for batsman - is that runs in an innings or average? I'm not so sure paying on an average would work out. Will we pay catches, run outs, stumpings? What about purchasing costs, an original larger price to buy the sponsorship plus a smaller cost for each month, something like that?

basic rates would go on averages, but i would decide the final price
strike rate would on be for ODI's catches, runouts = $5 stumpings, caught wkt = $5 purchasing costs would range from $75 to $500
cos you can lose money by buying a cheap player
$25 maintenance cost per series so if they don't get picked, you're losing money

How about a Virtual Comp where we use our fCash supplies to bid for players, and then we have games against each other! (I'm sure I could organise a Sim ) Although at the moment I myself may only be able to pick up park cricketers looking for a game cause I don't think I'd get Ricky Ponting for $1
