I guess we can go and visit Sonny Bill in France, and everyone knows Sonny Bill.
Does anyone know Khoder Nasser?
I'd like to get in touch because I want to pay him to send Dean Widders on a one way ticket to Europe somewhere (maybe the Russian League) ASAP.

What's Widders done wrong apart from play ordinary footy for Souths? Don't tell me the Bears recent form slump is because of him and some other ex first graders not bothering anymore $BW is apparently hiding in London at the moment. If he keeps that up maybe we can have a find Sonny Bill game while we're over there ;D

Don't tell me the Bears recent form slump is because of him and some other ex first graders not bothering anymore Seen a few Bears games recently and Widders isn't even a NSW Cup player, let alone NRL. He is so LAZY. If Dean Widders ever appears in the NRL again, the coach that picks him shout be instantly sacked. And he has a gut to make even the best old time props of the game proud.

Widders has signed with Castleford. You a bears fan, C Star? One of Supercoachs life's ambitions is to see the bears win a third premiership!

Coachie,
Yeah I am a tragic. Used to go all the time, had a few mates who played for the Bears in the good years and am mates with a current director and trying to help them out a little with a push to get back in the NRL.
To be honest, I doubt it wll ever happen for a variety of reasons which I will let you know over a few beers.
Been to quite a few of their games this season but that bloody Widders - to think he is on 280k a season defies reason. I hope the Castleford CEO has actually watched some footage of his form this year. He'd be lucky to make Naraweena F grade.
It is great though, Sat arvos in the sun at Bear Park. Went to Brookie last night and froze, but next Sat it back to the sun and beers at Bear Park.....with about 18000 less people!

Coachie,
Good to see another diehard........and since 1974.......thats quality. I can only boast since 1983.
I was mates with Chris Caruana and Tony Rea - 'smoke' grew up with one of my best mates at school and we knew the boy could blue long before he donned Bears colours. Also a few lower graders who never made the lofty heights.
You might appreciate this being a Bear: Went to a London Broncos match against Wigan in London in about 1998 as Tony Rea was coaching them (he organised a box), Greg Barwick was playing for them and a mate from uni ex Manly Tony Mestrov was also playing for the Broncos.
The Broncos scored a massive upset that night, and I spotted Greg MacCallum (remember THAT ref......the Larson send off 1994 semi vs Canberra?) in the crowd as he had become the chief of Refs in pommieland.
I was full as a boot and I did this for every tragic Bear fan - I took a full pint of beer at the end of the game right up to him and chucked it in his face.
Seeing the amber nectar drip of his ridiculous beard was priceless.
That was payback.
I got punted out of the joint naturally.
On the current situation - for the most part the current Norths Board are extremely ineffective, when Norths went into administration Singo managed to strip Bluetongue stadium off the football club (who owned it..) and Singo isn't interested - as an article showed the other day.
Our only hope is to get Bruce McHugh (ex bookie - owner of the Steyne hotel) to come on board as a Max Delmege type.
Theres a lot more to it but will give you a rundown over an ale or 6.
